This scholarship, hosted by the G70 Foundation, provides a multi-year tuition Scholarship + Mentorship for Hawai'i High School seniors majoring in Architecture, Interior Design, Civil Engineering or Planning. Their goal is to assist qualified students until the completion of their degree through scholarship assistance and summer internship opportunities.

This scholarship was created in honor of Mr. Francis S. Oda and the enduring example he set through leadership, generosity, and a deep commitment to opening pathways of opportunity for others. It is intended to support students of Hawaiʻi who show promise, strength of character, and a genuine commitment to community, even when those qualities are not always fully recognized through conventional measures or fixed financial thresholds. In that sense, it is meant to create room for those whose potential is real and whose need for opportunity may not always fit neatly within the usual lines.
